- Directly established by primary evidence.
- PARTIALLY DOCUMENTED
- Some parts are established, but material questions remain.
- AWAITING RECORDS
- Records have been requested or identified but are not yet available.
- VERIFY
- Evidence points to the issue, but additional primary documentation or reconciliation is needed.
- DISPUTED
- Relevant records or official accounts conflict.
- RESOLVED
- The available record sufficiently answers the original question.
